Location: THRIVE Peninsula

Details: Youth will take over the market responsibilities at the THRIVE market in Newport News. Volunteer roles include a greeter who explains the shopping process and gets the client started, a freezer attendant (not in the freezer, but assisting shoppers with selecting frozen items), packers/baggers, and runners to take orders out to the clients’ vehicles. When shopping hours end, we’ll clean up and take a tour of the THRIVE facilites.

Youth needed: 10

Special Considerations: Youth MUST be 14 years old
