BED BUILD: benefits local children living in poverty because “No child sleeps on the floor in our town!” (partnership with Sleep in Heavenly Peace)
Youth constructed over 80 beds for local children in need

BLUEBIRD GAP FARM: benefits local families who visit the farm to enjoy the animals and green spaces situated in an otherwise urban environment
Youth added a top rail to the fence that encloses the large cow pasture (July)
PARKVIEW COMMUNITY GARDEN: benefits Peninsula Rescue Mission and the food pantry at Parkview Baptist Church
Youth constructed raised garden boxes (January and February)
NEWSOME PARK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: benefits students by providing outdoor learning spaces and sensory activities
Youth constructed an outdoor chalkboard, butterfly garden, music wall, and sensory walkway (August)

GOAT CITY BUILD at Bluebird Gap Farm: youth volunteers constructed a multi-level playground designed to optimize the health and well-being of the animals

YVCHR's 2019 BIG BUILD Project:
