Virginia Beach Location

Hear the life-stories from three local speakers on their experiences and recovery from life-changing events such as natural disasters, accidents and suicide. Learn what is most helpful in the recovery process and what simple gestures mean the most.

Location: Francis Asbury United Methodist Church, Virginia Beach

Details: Youth will engage with speakers and take part in preparing tree kits to give to others experiencing these life-changing events.

YVC Day is the first Saturday of March each year. The YVC International Youth Advisory Board develops a unique theme for the year. Each of the 40 affiliates in Canada, United States and Uganda holds a project on YVC day that relates to the theme. The 2025 theme of “Road to Recovery” gives us a chance to delve in deep to tough situations and learn how we can lend a helping hand.
