This year’s Global Youth Service Day will serve as our “grand opening” for the 2021 planting season. Our youth have been hard at work all winter getting the garden ready for the first big planting of the season. Youth volunteers on the 24th will be planting a variety of seedlings in raised boxes and seeds in rows in the large garden plot.

Youth will need garden gloves, a mask and a willingness to get down and dirty in the garden. There will be a lot to do in order to make this first planting a success.
