Location: Virginia Beach Sports Center

Details: Help support the Hampton Roads Naval Museum's Lego Shipbuilding Event at the Virginia Beach Sports Center. Youth will help participants as they: use STEM-based design plans to build ships from the keel up in our shipyard of 200+ dry docks; participate in hands-on robotics demonstrations; view professional LEGO display models; participate in crafts and other fun LEGO-related activities!

Youth needed: 10

Special Considerations: Volunteers must be 14 years old

Organization being served: The Hampton Roads Naval Museum's mission is to interpret the history of the U.S. Navy in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area for the general public and service members through preserving and interpreting historic artifacts, conducting research, collecting artifacts and providing educational programs.
