Summit Youth Workshop (Virtual)

  • Virtual Zoom Workshop United States (map)

YVC Summit is a time for YVC affiliates from across the country and Canada to “spend time learning from each other, celebrating each other’s successes, and plotting our way forward. Summit is where we grow together and connect with others across the network.” In year’s past YVCHR has taken a group of youth to Summit to participate in workshops and a big service project with other youth from across the network. Summit has been hosted by various affiliates in cities like Kansas, MO, Charleston, SC and this year Summit was supposed to be in New York. However, due to COVID concerns it was decided that we would need to have a virtual Summit.

So if you would like to learn, serve and celebrate with other YVC youth from across the country sign up for this year’s virtual Summit youth workshop. The youth workshop will be led by youth from YVC Reading’s Stand Together Against Racism (STAR) group. STAR aims to address racism and injustice through education and dialogue initiated, supported, and facilitated by youth. This workshop will involve breakout sessions in which youth volunteers discuss how to address racism and injustice in their communities.

The link for the workshop will be forwarded to those on the roster. Don’t miss your chance to make a difference and sign up today!
