In honor of Earth Day, we’re going to give the butterfly garden at Saunders Elementary some TLC! High Liner Foods will assist with this project as our community partner. Youth will install a weed barrier, spread mulch, replace host/nectar plants for the Monarch Waystation, and install butterfly houses. Youth will need sunscreen, a water bottle, garden gloves and a metal rake and/or pitch fork. If you don’t have any of the required items, contact us and we will find a way to get what is needed.

Location: Butterfly Garden @ Saunders Elementary School (NOTE: Pick-up and drop-off will take place at All Nations Church, located behind the school.)

Special Considerations: Youth must wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Since this is an outdoor project, masks are optional.
